An exciting opportunity has emerged for ambitious, dedicated and energetic coaches to help shape the future of the senior men’s team at National Premier League Club, Balcatta FC.
Balcatta FC compete in Football West’s NPLWA competition. The Club is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced NPL Senior Men’s Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach to join their squad.
Balcatta’s vision for 2022 and beyond is to develop an NPL Senior Men’s squad around a core of experienced players along with members from its development squads including those coming through our NPL junior pathway.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the coaching and management of the club’s Senior NPL team and are expected to work closely with the Under 20’s Men’s, Under 18’s Youth Team and club Technical Director.
In addition, the candidates are required to excel in coaching and leadership, player development, talent identification, and administration.
Both positions require ongoing collaboration with the Club’s football staff and senior management, led by its Football Operations Manager to deliver on agreed key performance indicators related to
the ongoing development of players as well as the successful implementation of the club’s philosophy and program.
Job tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide coaching, leadership and management to the club.
Organise, conduct and evaluate NPL in and out of season, team training sessions and matches.
Contribute to the development of Under 20 and Under 18’s training sessions and programs.
Deliver high-level technical and tactical coaching sessions and information.
Assist club football staff and senior management as required.
Assist in development and implementation of club player and player identification programs.
Deliver coaching and programs in accordance with Club’s Vision Statement.
Provide support and advice to club senior management and the Board.
Report to the Football Operations Department and the Board.
Actively engage in the recruitment of players and talent identification.
Engage with club community members from grass roots to seniors.
Engage with community stakeholders and leaders.
Skills and experience:
FFA ‘B’ Licence or higher.
Strong eadership and people management skills.
Proven experience and understanding of high-performance requirements.
Desirable: qualifications in Sports Science or Sports Management.
High-level of verbal, written and IT based communications.
Remuneration will be available to the suitably qualified candidates by negotiation and structured in line with the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
